Duet is a joint SAP and Microsoft software product for interaction between the SAP Business Suite and Microsoft Office(R). The idea is to have Microsoft Outlook as the primary user interface for SAP Business Applications such as ERP (including HR, Financials), CRM and SRM in addition to Microsoft SharePoint. From MS Outlook users can perform actions in the SAP backend without even knowing it using the MS Outlook, Excel and Word applications. Over time, more SAP applications may be added in the form of more business scenarios, and customers can build their own scenarios with the DUET Software Development Kit.
