Purpose:
The purpose of this article is to explain why the Functional Location field on the Object List of a Maintenance Order goes blank when the Equipment installed on it is dismantled.
Overview:
When you create and order using IW31, and insert an equipment which is installed on a Functional Location, both the equipment and its functional location appear on the orders Object List. If the equipment is ever dismantled from the functional location, the functional location will no longer appear on the order object list.
Define Object List data

How Object List data is being determined
Table ILOA contains the Location / Account assignment data from the technical object. Equipments, Functional Locations, Notifications and Maintenance Plan Items all have a reference to table ILOA (EQUZ-ILOAN, AFIH-ILOAN, QMIH-ILOAN).
A Maintenance Order Object List uses a dynamic reference to the equipment. Therefore the system is always showing the most current table data for the equipment, regardless of the status of the order.
