How to unlock one ore more documents in KM

Situation:
A user has locked a document in KM using the local editing function for example but is not available to unlock it again. The administrator wants to unlock this or a list of documents from this user.

Solution 1:
A user with Full Control rights (i.e. a System Principle) can navigate to the document and unlock the documents. The unlock command can be found in the document details dialog under "Actions".

Solution 2:
A Content Administrator can perform a report to unlock locked documents. The Resource Locks Report can be found under Content Administration -> KM Content -> Toolbox -> Reports
