Procedure:
1. You will need to have portal Administrator rights.
2. log on to the portal.
3. Choose System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Index Administration
4. Choose Create. you will observe a new index iview.
5. Enter an ID.
6. Select TREX Search in Service dropdown list.
7. Choose Create Index..
You will get a confirmation if on the bottom of the page.
8. Select Data Sources link.( in next page)
9. Choose Add.
10. Browse to the repositories we have created (that is root -> WebDAV, root -> palsmbus, root -> www).
11. Choose OK
12. Choose Save.
You have created an index that can be used for searching with TREX.
