Displaying TREX Search on Enterprise Portal

After installing and configuring TREX on the system, we have to now enable it on the Enterprise Portal Tool area.

Procedure:

1. You will need to have portal Administrator rights.

2. Log on to the portal.

3. Choose Content Administration -> Portal Content

4. In the Portal Content on the left frame_, choose_ Portal Users -> Standard Portal Users.

5. Double-click the Default Framework Page. This will open the Default Framework Page in edit mode.

6. Select the Tool Area radio button.

7. Choose the Display button

8. Choose Save.

Now we need to add advanced search to the Search iview

Procedure:

1. Choose the Edit button.

2. In Property Category, use the dropdown to select Show All.

3. Select Enable KM Search Advanced radio button to Yes.

4. Choose Save.

5. Choose Close.

6. Now just refersh the browser and you will observe Search button is dispalyed on the Tool area
