Using the Component Monitor in Runtime Workbench, you can check the status of the Integration Engine using the tests listed below.

Tests available in PI 7.1.1 and later releases

Integration Engine availability
Are roles in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS and SLD consistent?
Can the SLD be reached?
Does the Integration Engine know the business system?
Is Web service security available?

Tests available in PI 7.3 and later releases

Is a destination defined for the Integration Server?
Background job tests
