This probably the key aspect of this application that helps capture and translate Business benefits in terms of tangible monetized values, brought at par with the TCO calculations. This was actually a part of an exercise that was conducted within the BPX community within Cardinal, where all details pertaining to key business benefits were captured and rated on a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the highest).
For each one of the 10 variables, sub-variables were calculated and administered to a set of Business users to calculate the efficiency of the application that was being built, Reverse engineered or forward engineered.

This variable focusses on improved information access rendered possible through RexApps vis-a-vis the legacy application. Percieved value, we found, fluctuated and contradicted to what the users had put across for a particular attribute in the legacy application with the same attribute being rated higher with the Reverse Engineered xApps demanding greater emphasis. Since we wanted to capture this contradiction, we got them both together in the application and you can see that the rating is captured for all the attributes. The same logic applies to all the Top Ten Variables that were listed by the Business Community that was not involved in IT activities.
