Initial Team Presentation & Naming
On the first day of the Developer Challenge, each team will be asked to come up with a name, and make a brief presentation about the team members and their initial thoughts on their chosen topic. Time is set aside in the agenda for teams to prepare, but the Wiki is a good place to start discussing names and which topic or topics your prototype will address.
Composition
The 2008 SAP Developer Challenge steering committee, comprised of SAP development executives, will assemble the teams so that each has a good balance of skills and core competencies, and also a mix of participants from SAP, SAP partners, and SAP customers.
Collaboration
Team assignments will be announced shortly. After the announcement, private workspaces on the 2008 SAP Developer Challenge Wiki will be made available to each team so that the members can collaborate and get to know each other prior to the event. Each individual participant will also have his or her own page, linked from the team page.
Selection of Development Topic
Teams are free to leverage the diverse skills among members, but are not required to use, for example, any particular language. Teams should discuss the capabilities and strengths of each member, and consider them when choosing what to develop and how to go about it. |

We are one week before the challenge and it would definitly worth for the team members and for the event to know our colleagues in order to have a chance to brainstorm before the event. If I well remember in previous challenge teams where announced 6 weeks before the start.
Can you please give us an update on this?
Thanks in advance,
Alain
